Maps and Plans
We have produced a series of maps and plans outlining the land we propose to safeguard for Phase 1 of HS2.
They are organised into six volumes and arranged according to County Boundaries. They can be accessed by clicking on the relevant volume link below.
Please refer to the key plan in each volume to find out which maps cover which sections of the route. A set of explanatory notes is also provided via the link below for your reference and to assist you when viewing the maps.
Please note that these Explanatory Notes apply to both the Safeguarding and the Property & Compensation maps: but only describe the safeguarded area, not the Voluntary Purchase Zone (VPZ).
The proposed VPZ follows a set rule, which extends to 120 m either side of the centreline in rural areas, where the land is not already within the safeguarded area. Please refer to the Property and Compensation Consultation document for more details about the VPZ.
